🚨 Let’s be honest — AI isn’t killing engineering. 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞.

I've spent 25 years in this industry watching process pile on process until the thing we loved — building — got buried under tickets and rituals.

🏗️ Sprints. Refinements. Grooming. Velocity.

We built a religion of control and called it Agile.

Now, the average engineer spends more time justifying work than doing it, often with no idea of the why or what is trying to be achieved, - Everything’s measured except 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞. - Everything’s “agile” except 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲.

And when AI shows up — not as a tool, but as a way to finally break free — what happens?

😱 Panic.

🙈 Denial.

💬 “AI can’t code.” “You can’t trust it.”

The same people who’ve spent years rewriting each other’s “bad” code now blame AI for writing bad code for them.

🤔 It’s not AI that’s incompetent — 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐮𝐬.

⚔️ 𝐀 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧.

💣 𝐀 𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜.

AI doesn’t replace engineering — 𝐢𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭.

It amplifies skill and weakness. It forces us to confront the uncomfortable truth: most teams have forgotten how to build fast, creatively, and with purpose.

🚀 I do AI first engineering every day now — not the hype, not the fake “prompt-to-prod” nonsense, but real building. Minimal tickets. No waiting for “refinement.” Just ideas

🔥 And it’s addictive. Because it feels like engineering again.

We’re not in the “AI revolution.” We’re in the 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 — if we’re brave enough to step out of the dark ages we built for ourselves.
