I used to love engineering, but over time, bureaucracy and slow processes dulled the excitement. Engineering became more about process than problem-solving. But now, AI-generated code changes this entirely. My belief is that 95-100% of code should and will be generated by AI.
๐น ๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ ๐๐? For the past 18 months, Iโve been coding againโoutside my Chief Architect roleโexploring how AI can transform engineering and architecture. The result? AI slashes implementation time, allowing engineers and architects to focus on design, quality, and business value but not as we do engineering today.
๐น ๐๐ก๐ฒ ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฌ AI-generated code isnโt about replacing engineersโitโs about ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ them. Instead of drowning in process-heavy frameworks, we can rapidly prototype, iterate, and refine. Imagine generating working solutions in hours instead of weeks!
๐น ๐๐จ๐ฐ ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐ญ Shift from process-heavy to outcome-driven empowered engineers and teams. Build even smaller faster, cross-functional teams focused on business value Ensure real ownership of solutionsโno more passing the buck!
๐น ๐๐ก๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ Engineering should be a ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ process, not an assembly line. AI enables us to build better solutions ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซโbut only if we embrace it. The organizations that fail to adapt will fall behind.
